3 Plugins

3.1 Cookies

Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored in the Internet browser or by the Internet browser on the user's computer system. When a user accesses a website, a cookie may be stored on the user's operating system. In the case of a login, this cookie contains a characteristic string of characters that ensures unique identification of the browser for the duration of the login. As a rule, cookies are used to manage website metadata and do not contain any personal data.

We use cookies for the purpose of making our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Some functions of our website cannot be offered without the use of cookies. The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. F GDPR from the legitimate interest in the above-mentioned purposes.

The data collected from you in this way is pseudonymised by technical precautions. It is therefore no longer possible for us as the website operator to assign the data to your person. The data is not stored together with other personal data we collect from you.

Cookies are stored on your computer. You therefore have full control over the use of cookies. By selecting the appropriate technical settings in your Internet browser, you can prevent the storage of cookies and the transmission of the data they contain. Cookies that have already been saved can be deleted at any time. However, we would like to point out that you may then not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent. You can find out how to manage (including deactivating) cookies in the most important browsers by clicking on the links below: Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari.

3.2 Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyse website usage. The data obtained from this is used to optimise our website and advertising measures.

Google Analytics is a web analytics service provided and operated by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047) with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google processes the website usage data on our behalf and is contractually obliged to take measures to ensure the confidentiality of the processed data.

During your visit to our website, the following data is recorded:

This data is transferred to Google servers in the USA. We would like to point out that the same level of protection under data protection law cannot be guaranteed in the USA as within the EU. Google Analytics stores cookies in your web browser for a period of two years since your last visit. These cookies contain a randomly generated user ID with which you can be recognised on future visits to the website. The recorded data is stored together with the randomly generated user ID, which makes it possible to analyse pseudonymous user profiles. This user-related data is automatically deleted after 14 months. Other data remains stored in aggregated form indefinitely.

The Google Analytics service is used to analyse the usage behaviour of our website. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. If you do not consent to the collection of data, you can opt out of this by installing the browser add-on to deactivate Google Analytics to disable Google Analytics.

3.3 Google Ads

This website also uses conversion tracking. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), a company incorporated and operated under Irish law (registration number: 368047) with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google Ads places a cookie on your computer if you have reached our website via a Google advert. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the Google Ads customer's website and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and the customer can recognise that the user clicked on the ad and was redirected to this page. Each Google Ads customer receives a different cookie. Cookies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of Google Ads customers. The information collected using the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted for conversion tracking.

Google Ads customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their advert and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information with which users can be personally identified.

The legal basis for the use of this Google service is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. If you do not wish to participate in the tracking process, you can also refuse the setting of a cookie required for this - for example, by using a browser setting that generally deactivates the automatic setting of cookies. You can also deactivate cookies for conversion tracking by setting your browser to block cookies from the domain "www.ads.google.com". You can find Google's privacy policy on conversion tracking here.

3.4 Google Tag Manager

This website uses the Google Tag Manager . This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), a company incorporated and operated under Irish law (registration number: 368047) with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). This organisational tool makes it possible to centrally integrate and manage various tracking tools. This involves inserting sections of code, also known as tags, into the source code of the website, for example to track user activities, support marketing tools, set cookies and track users across different websites.

We use Google Tag Manager to make the maintenance of our website more efficient and to provide a better user experience. This tool allows us to easily integrate the necessary scripts and manage them from a central location without the need for programming knowledge.

The Google Tag Manager itself does not store any data and does not set any cookies. The data collected by the implemented tags is forwarded directly to the corresponding tracking tools, such as Google Analytics. Please refer to the data protection texts of the individual analysis and tracking tools to find out what data is collected, stored and processed.

In the Tag Manager account settings, we have allowed Google to receive anonymised data, but this is solely for the use of the Tag Manager itself and not your personal data collected via the implemented code sections. We agree to the anonymised sharing of website data, with Google deleting any information that could identify our website. The data collected is merged anonymously with other website data in order to analyse trends and optimise processes.

3.5 Google Remarketing

This website uses Google Remarketing, an advertising analysis tool. This is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), a company incorporated and operated under the laws of Ireland (registration number: 368047) with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). Google uses cookies which are stored on your computer and which enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookies about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. The IP address is then shortened by Google by the last three digits, so that it is no longer possible to clearly identify the IP address. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. Third-party providers, including Google, place adverts on websites on the Internet. Third-party providers, including Google, use stored cookies to place adverts based on a user's previous visits to this website. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google. You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future. You can deactivate the use of cookies by Google by visiting the page for deactivating Google advertising. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

This service is used to analyse the usage behaviour of our website and to address users individually with remarketing campaigns. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. You can object to the collection and storage of data at any time with effect for the future. Further information on Google's provisions can be found at policies.google.com/privacy.

3.6 Google Web Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts for the standardised display of fonts. Google Fonts is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited ("Google"), a company incorporated and operated under Irish law (registration number: 368047) with its registered office at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google").

Google Fonts play a key role in maintaining the quality of our website. All Google fonts are automatically optimised for web use, which results in efficient data transfer and is particularly beneficial for mobile devices. The small file size of Google fonts ensures that our website loads quickly, which has a positive effect on the user experience.

The Google fonts are installed locally on our server. There is no connection to Google servers.

3.7 YouTube

We integrate YouTube videos into our online offering, which are stored at www.youtube.com and can be played directly from our website. YouTube is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

YouTube automatically records your IP address, the date and time of access, as well as information about the website you visited and the video you viewed. This takes place regardless of whether you are logged in to YouTube via a user account or not. In addition, a connection to the Google advertising network is established.

If you call up one of our web pages with an embedded YouTube video without playing the video, no data will initially be transmitted to YouTube if YouTube's "extended data protection mode" is activated. The data will only be transmitted when you start the video.

We set a cookie to save your settings regarding video playback and data transmission to YouTube. These cookies do not contain any personal data, but are only used to customise your browser.

If you are logged in to YouTube at the same time, YouTube can link the connection information to your YouTube account and use it for personalised advertising. you can find more information in Google's privacy policy: http://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.

We use YouTube to show you videos on our websites. The legal basis for the processing is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.

3.8 Facebook social plugin

Our website uses social plugins ("plugins") from the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). The plugins can be recognised by one of the Facebook logos (white "f" on a blue tile, the terms "Like", "Gefällt mir" or a "thumbs up" sign) or are labelled with the addition "Facebook Social Plugin". The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be viewed here.

When a user accesses a website of this offer that contains such a plugin, their browser establishes a direct connection with the Facebook servers. The content of the plugin is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser, which integrates it into the website. The provider therefore has no influence on the scope of the data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and therefore informs users according to its level of knowledge.

By integrating the plugins, Facebook receives the information that a user has accessed the corresponding page of the website. If the user is logged in to Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to their Facebook account. If users interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the Like button or posting a comment, the corresponding information is transmitted directly from your browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, it is still possible for Facebook to find out their IP address and store it. According to Facebook, only an anonymised IP address is stored in Germany.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook as well as the relevant rights and setting options to protect the privacy of users can be found in Facebook's data protection information. If a user is a Facebook member and does not want Facebook to collect data about them via this website and link it to their membership data stored on Facebook, they must log out of Facebook before visiting this website.

The purpose of processing your data on our profile page on the respective social network is to provide information about our offers and services and to respond to any enquiries on our profile page. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 f) GDPR. In this respect, public relations work is covered by our legitimate interests within the meaning of the provision. If you use a social plugin integrated by us, the legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 a) GDPR.

3.9 Facebook website customer audiences

On our website, we use the "Website Custom Audiences" pixel of the social network Facebook, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook").

So-called tracking pixels are integrated on our pages. When you visit our pages, the tracking pixel establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Among other things, Facebook receives the information that our site has been accessed by your end device. If you are a Facebook user, Facebook can assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We would like to point out that, as the provider of the pages, we have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Facebook. Our influence is limited to which segments of Facebook users (such as age, interests) should be shown our adverts. We use one of two Custom Audiences working methods in which no data records, in particular no email addresses of our users - neither encrypted nor unencrypted - are transmitted to Facebook.

Even if you are not registered with Facebook or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and store your IP address and other identifying features.

Further information on this can be found in Facebook's privacy policy. If you wish to object to the use of Facebook Website Custom Audiences, you can do so here.

The use of Custom Audience is based on your consent declared to us in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.

3.10 Facebook - Conversion measurement with the conversion pixel

Our website uses the "conversion pixel" or visitor action pixel of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland ("Facebook"). However, according to Facebook, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries.

Conversion pixels allow us to track the behaviour of site visitors who have been redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad. This allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimise future advertising measures.

The data we collect is anonymous and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the user. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a link to the respective user profile can be established. Facebook may use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with its privacy policy, which enables the display of adverts on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of the data is beyond our control as the site operator.

Conversion pixels are used in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, as the website operator has a legitimate interest in effective advertising measures, including the use of social media. If a corresponding consent has been obtained (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; this consent can be revoked at any time.

Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses. Further details can be found at: www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and de-de.facebook.com/help/566994660333381.

You can find more information on protecting your privacy in Facebook's data protection information: de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

You also have the option of deactivating the remarketing function "Custom Audiences" in the ad settings at www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.

If you do not have a Facebook account, you can deactivate usage-based advertising from Facebook on the website of the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance: www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/.

3.11 Usercentrics Consent Management

We use the Usercentrics Consent Management Platform on our website as a consent management tool as part of our analytics activities. The service provider is the German company Usercentrics GmbH, Sendlinger Straße 7, 80331 Munich, Germany.

The Usercentrics Consent Management Platform uses JavaScript to collect log file and consent data. This JavaScript makes it possible to inform users about their consent to certain tags on our website and to obtain, manage and document this consent.

The following consent data is collected during processing: anonymised logbook data (Consent ID, Processor ID, Controller ID), consent status and timestamp, data of the devices used (including shortened IP addresses (IP v4, IP v6), device information and timestamp) and user data (including email, ID, browser information, SettingIDs, changelog). The ConsentID (contains the above-mentioned data) and the consent status including timestamp are stored in the local memory of your browser and simultaneously on the cloud servers used. Further processing only takes place in the event of a request for information or revocation of your consent.

No user information is stored for the statistical evaluation of consents given or not given. Only the frequency and locations of clicks are logged.

The personal data is stored on a Google Cloud server based in the EU (Brussels, Frankfurt am Main).

The purpose of processing your data is to analyse and manage the consents granted in order to comply with our obligation to manage consents in accordance with the GDPR. The use of Usercentrics serves the purpose of providing evidence of granted and non-granted consents and their management. The legal basis for the management of your consent to the processing of your personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the legally compliant documentation and verifiability of consent, the management of marketing measures based on the consent given and the optimisation of consent rates.

3.12 X (formerly Twitter)

We have integrated functions from X on our website. These are, for example, embedded tweets, timelines, buttons or hashtags. X is a short message service and a social media platform of the American company X Corp, 1355 Market Street, Suite 900 San Francisco, CA 94103, USA. For the European region, Twitter International Unlimited Company (One Cumberland Place, Fenian Street, Dublin 2, D02 AX07, Ireland) is responsible for the processing of personal data.

The web pages of our website that contain X social plugins establish a direct connection to the X servers via your browser when you open them. The information that you have accessed the page of our website containing the social plugin is then transmitted to X. If you are logged in to X at this time, the visit to our pages and all your interactions in connection with the social plugins (e.g. clicking the "X" button) can be assigned to your X profile and stored by X. Even if you do not have an X profile, it cannot be ruled out that X will store your IP address.

With regard to the purpose and scope of data collection and the processing and use of data by Twitter, we refer you to the X privacy policy. There you will also find an overview of the setting options in your personal X profile to protect your privacy and your associated rights. To prevent Twitter from collecting the above-mentioned data through your visit to our website, log out of Twitter before visiting our site.

It is possible that X may also process the data obtained outside the scope of the European General Data Protection Regulation. However, by participating in the Privacy Shield Framework, X guarantees compliance with an appropriate level of data protection in the EU: Privacy Shield Framework.

We have a legitimate interest in using X to ensure fast and good communication with you or other customers and business partners. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. If a corresponding consent has been obtained (e.g. consent to the storage of cookies), the processing is carried out exclusively in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR; this consent can be revoked at any time.

3.13 Spotify

With your consent, we use the so-called "Spotify pixel" of the music streaming service Spotify on our website.

By using the Spotify pixel, Spotify is able to determine the visitors of our online offer as a target group for the display of adverts (so-called "Spotify ads"). Accordingly, by using the Spotify pixel, we pursue the purpose of displaying the Spotify ads placed by us only to those Spotify users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (for example, interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Spotify (so-called "Custom Audiences"). In this way, we also want to ensure that our Spotify ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not annoying. With the Spotify pixel's "conversion" tool, we can also track your actions after you have seen or accessed a Spotify advert. This is used to monitor and analyse the effectiveness of our Spotify ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the users.

The Spotify pixel is a tracking pixel. Tracking bugs are small graphics that enable log file recording and log file analysis. Spotify uses standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and relies on adequacy decisions regarding certain countries to legitimise data transfers from the European Economic Area to the USA or other third countries. Details can be found at www.spotify.com/de/legal/privacy-policy/.

However, it cannot be ruled out that US authorities in particular may access the data stored by Spotify. You may not be entitled to any legal remedies against access by authorities. By consenting to the use of the Spotify pixel, you also expressly consent to the transfer of your personal data to a third country - such as the USA (Art. 49 para. 1 subpara. 1 letter a GDPR).

We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Spotify through the use of this service and therefore inform you according to our state of knowledge: By integrating the Spotify pixel, Spotify receives the information that you have clicked on an advert from us or called up the corresponding website of our Internet presence. If you are registered with a Spotify service, Spotify can assign the visit to your user account. Spotify may use this information for the purposes of advertising, market research and customising Spotify advertisements. For this purpose, Spotify and its partners create usage, interest and relationship profiles, for example to analyse your use of our website with regard to the advertisements displayed to you on Spotify, to inform other Spotify users about your activities on our website and to provide other services associated with the use of Spotify. Spotify uses the following data in particular to create target group-orientated advertising:

Cookies may also be stored on your end device for this purpose. Even if you are not registered with Spotify or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out and store your IP address and other identifying features.

If you are registered with Spotify, you can set which types of adverts are displayed to you within Spotify by visiting the page set up by Spotify and following the instructions on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.spotify.com/de/account/privacy/.

The settings are platform-independent, i.e. they are adopted for all end devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Spotify as well as your rights in this regard and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in Spotify's data protection information. Further information can be found at www.spotify.com/de/privacy.

If you have given us your consent, your consent is the legal basis for the use of the Spotify pixel and the associated processing of personal data (Art. 6 para. 1 subpara. 1 letter a GDPR). If information is stored or retrieved on your end device (e.g. through cookies), your consent also forms the relevant legal basis for this in accordance with Section 25 (1) TTDSG.

You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future. If you wish to deactivate the tracking of the Spotify pixel or revoke your consent, please uncheck the "Spotify pixel" service under Cookie settings.

3.14 TikTok Pixel

The TikTok Pixel is a TikTok advertiser tool from the two providers TikTok Technology Limited, 10 Earlsfort Terrace, Dublin, D02 T380, Ireland, and TikTok Information Technologies UK Limited, WeWork, 125 Kingsway, London, WC2B 6NH, United Kingdom (together "TikTok"). The TikTok Pixel is a JavaScript code snippet that allows us to understand and track visitors' activities on our website. The TikTok pixel collects and processes information about the visitors to our website or the devices they use. The data collected via the TikTok Pixel is used to target our advertisements and to improve ad delivery and personalised advertising. For this purpose, the data collected on our website using the TikTok pixel is transmitted to TikTok. Some of this data is information that is stored on the device you are using. In addition, the TikTok Pixel also uses cookies to store information on the device you are using. Such storage of information by the TikTok pixel or access to information that is already stored on your device only takes place with your consent.

For more information on how TikTok processes personal data, including the legal basis on which TikTok relies and how you can exercise your rights against TikTok, please refer to TikTok's privacy policy at www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy.
